Tuesday Blog Party - 25.00 Gift card for Trader Joes

It's Tuesday Blog party time. I am a little late in starting, but I hope you'll take a moment decide to drop a donation here.

This blog party is in honor of Tuesday Fiona Whitt... Tuesday lost her brave battle with cancer last year. Her parents have created Whatchagonnado.org, to help other families who are in the throws of cancer. It will help provide travel, food, daily expenses and if needed, funeral arrangements... I wish that organizations such as that weren't needed... but until there is a cure, there is a tremendous need for Whatchagonnado.org...

Here on my cupcake blog, I will be auctioning off a $25.00 gift card for Trader Joes.

Good luck!

St. Patrick's Day Cupcakes

I love making cupcakes with a theme. Especially a holiday theme. These ones were rainbow inside (of course!) with green frosting, gold glitter, gold sprinkles and a little sugar clover.

Baptism Cupcakes!

Baptism cupcakes. I love how these came out... They are so dainty... They had shimmery crosses with the baby girls initials, sugar flowers, glitter and pearls (edible of course!)

Here they are all packaged up and ready to go.

Lightning McQueen

These cupcakes were for a two year old boy who is crazy about Cars and loves Lightning McQueen. All he wanted was "Lightning McQueen cupcakes". I had fun designing these. I drew the Lightning McQueen's in reverse using melting chocolates. The cupcakes were red and blue inside and had vanilla buttercream icing.

Neon peace sign, smiley, heart cupcakes!

I recently made these cupcakes for a sweet little girl who turned 11 years old. She had a roller skating party and her only requirements were that they had to be neon, especially neon green and they had to have peace signs, hearts and smiley faces. They were vanilla rainbow inside, the exact same colors as the icing.

Wonder Pets Cupcakes

These cupcakes were made with rainbow vanilla inside! I so wish I got a picture of how bright and vibrant they look inside! Oh well... The flyboats were drawn using chocolate and they have edible glitter on them... In case your wondering who that wiggly kid is in the background... She's mine :)

Dinosaur Cupcakes

These chocolate dinosaur cupcakes have white chocolate dino fossils on them. They also have crushed cookie "dirt" and candy rocks. My birthday boy loved them! :)

Fancy Jewel cupcakes

These cupcakes turned out so lovely... they have pink and purple vanilla icing, jewel candies, metallic dragees and of course, edible glitter...

The Ultimate Princess cupcake!

These are by far, my favorite cupcake creation... They were made with pink cake inside, pink and purple icing, edible glitter, sugar flowers, metallic dragees and little bitty crowns. The girls went bonkers for these! So did their mamas!!!

Pretty Red Velvets

These cupcakes went to a fundraising bakesale as well. They are red velvets! And I will tell you, they may be just the best red velvets you ever tasted... They have cream cheese icing and pretty chocolate flowers on them.

Chocolate Bunny cupcake

These were made for a birthday that was close to Easter. I made the chocolate bunnies, added some candy flowers and eggs.

Construction Cupcakes

These cupcakes were chocolate. On the top I crushed cookies to look like dirt, added some candy rocks, sugar tools and made some chocolate dump trucks. The birthday boy loved these!

Elmo Cupcakes

All of the details of Elmo's face were made using icing.

Cowboy Cupcakes

These cowboy cupcakes were made for a western themed bake sale. They were chocolate with brown colored vanilla icing. The hat and horeshoe were chocolate and the little rocks were candy! You cant tell, but they were in gold foil wrappers. They turned out so cute!

Ninja Turtles Cupcakes

These were the first charector cupcakes I ever made. Chocolate with green vanilla icing. The masks were made of fondant and the eyes were sugar.
